When deciding which operator to choose, be aware that not all dive companies know the locations of these specific sites. Hat island, for example, has miles of underwater terrain, much of it uninteresting. Sailaway Cruises has been operating in these waters for almost quarter of a century. We discovered many of the sites, including an intact WWII Corsair fighter plane, and we're still the only operator to run regular cruises to these prime diving locations.

Sailaway Cruises is owner-operated. Offering full day sailing cruises and overnight trips and charters from Havannah Harbour, two SCUBA dives are offered every cruise. We only take a limited number of people on board, so you're not just one of the crowd on a large, impersonalised tour.

Havannah Harbour is on the lee side of the island, protected from the predominant southeasterly Trade Winds. There is no industry, agriculture or large settlements in the area. With little runoff to reduce visibility, the result is that rare combination of protected waters with open ocean visibility and marine life.

• Number of dives you may wish to do (we won't lock you into this, so if you come down with a cold or ear blockage at the last minute, you're not committed)
• Number of non-divers (adult and children)
• The name of the Vila hotel you will be staying in (so we know where to collect you)

Once your email reservation is confirmed, you do not need to pay until arriving in Vanuatu [applies to day cruises and dives only. A deposit is required for overnight tours and charters]. Our office is in the main street of Port Vila, right next to the Post Office, opposite the ANZ bank. We'll confirm details with you by email.

Costs

• Full day cruise package includes: hotel to hotel transfers to/from Havannah Harbour, full day cruise aboard Golden Wing, lunch, morning and afternoon teas, use of snorkelling equipment, entry fees to Feles Cave, beaches and local village fees for snorkelling or diving. Drinks from the (limited stock) bar are NOT included.
• SCUBA dives include: tank, weightbelt, fins, mask and snorkel, and Divemaster/guide services.
